Online Course Creation

Over the years I have been asked many times if I have lessons on DVD's or online classes available so it has therefore been brewing in the back of mind for a long time to produce some of my knowledge into a digital format until this year when I decided to make it happen.
Much research went in to the platform I would use and method of delivery and during this time I stumbled across a course creator based in Perth that ticked all the boxes for me with the planning and delivery of course creation so I took her intensive coaching program through March.
By the end of the month I had my content organised and filmed my first introductory course. It has been a huge learning curve, not only with the technology but with the presentation as well, there was far more behind the scenes work than I expected.
Planning in the studio
For someone who is a classic introvert, I have had to step right out of my comfort zone to get in front of the camera but it has been worth it as I have added so much to my knowledge. So far I have learnt Canva for image design, iMovie for video editing, Handbrake for video compression and ploughed through a vast quantity of tutorials to understand my Learning Management System to upload my courses... phew!
It has been exhilarating at times as much as overwhelming but I forge on with the hope the courses will change someones life for the better.
