'Stirring after Slumber'

I had a wonderful opportunity to be with African Wildlife Conservation Fund who research, monitor and protect packs of African wild dogs in south east Zimbabwe. We watched this pack of dogs for quite a while in the late afternoon. They slumber in the hot African sun barely moving only to toss away flies occasionally and then they stirred, stretched and prepared for the evening hunt.
