Step by step-shading in graphite pencil

A fundamental lesson in gaining knowledge of light on an object and of pencil application. Step by step pdf. tutorial with 10 steps, beginning with drawing a value scale and then using the scale to aid in changing a circle into a sphere by using correct values and transitions. Pencils used were Staedtler Mars Lumograph on watercolour paper but other pencil brands are fine to use.
