'Feathers and Fur' in pencil will be taught by Kate at the Benalla Art Gallery, Saturday December 13th, 2-4pm.

Kate will be teaching for the Free Art School program run by the Benalla Art Gallery, Thursday 27th November 2-4pm. The topic will be wildlife portraits in pencil

"The Precipice", my drawing of a snow leopard has been selected twice for international exhibitions. The first is the virtual exhibition for Artists for Conservation and secondly, I will be sending it physically to Quebec, Canada to be part of the inaugural Pencil Art Society annual international exhibition, Aug 22- Sept 21, 2014.

'Scent of lions' has been juried in to the 54th Annual Art and the Animal' exhibition to open on August 23rd, 2014 in Parker, Colorado at the Wildlife Experience Museum.

Kate has had two entries for Camberwell Art Show accepted, it runs from June 28th- July 6th, 2014.

"Free to run" was awarded First Prize at The Man from Snowy River Festival in the themed section. "Cooling Off" received First Prize in the open oil/acrylic section and "Beads & buckles received Second in the Works on Paper section in 2014. Kate also won the Peoples Choice Award and she is very honoured to receive these awards.
